Appel Tree?
we been feeling a little like we're not getting anywhere and the food is too small and not producing so I dug up some pictures from roughly a year ago when we were getting our 1st crops in the ground. Some are better this year, some worse but there's definitely progress. A great deal of what we've been working on this year didn't even exist at this time last summer but here's a side by side comparison of the garden areas that did exist a year ago..

7 small dams in the run off stream that surrounds our island of food have leveled out the water flow causing fewer days of No Flow and Zero days of Flooding this year.

this is actually from early spring 2014. I could not find a photo of this area from mid summer 2013. Likely because we had yet to start transforming it from an over grown waste land next to the place the trash got burned.

I think the planting is looking great. So much progress in the year's time. Please keep up the good work, and I know it is a lot of work. The beans and cucumbers are great. I look forward to more.
